What To Expect

We love to welcome new patients to Venice Pines Veterinary Clinic. Taking care of pets is very important to us and we are excited to expand our family. If your pet is a new patient, this page will be your resource to help you prepare for your first visit.

Before Your Appointment

Before your pet’s first visit, we encourage you to complete your New Client Form. This will save you time when you arrive for your visit, allowing us to maximize the time spent examining your pet. We will also need all previous veterinary records for your pet. The best way to get those to us is to have your former veterinarian send them to us, or give us their contact information at the time you schedule your visit so that we can seek it out for you.

When You Come for Your Visit

When you come for your visit, please have your pet properly secured for their safety and the safety of our other clients and patients. All dogs should be leashed and all cats should be in appropriate carriers. We also recommend you bring with you anything that may be useful to our doctors during their examination, including:

  • Prescriptions or medicines that your pet uses
  • Previous medical records

We recommend arriving 10-15 minutes before your appointment time. This allows us time to get any paperwork signed, weigh your pet, and get you settled into an exam room before the doctor sees your pet. At Venice Pines Veterinary Clinic, we are committed to running all appointments on time and early arrival helps ensure that that happens every time.

Payment Options

At Venice Pines Veterinary Clinic, we do our best to work within your budget. If you are in need of a payment plan, we recommend using Care Credit. You can apply in advance of your visit.
