Our pets are good at hiding their pain and discomfort, so it’s up to us to watch for the signs. When a pet is experiencing physical pain related to an injury, illness, or the aging process, we may notice them moving slower, acting reluctant to behave normally and even lying in unusual positions. If you notice your pet engaging in unusual behavior, please let us know so that we can evaluate them for pain and prescribe a pain management option. We are determined to keep our patients as comfortable at all times.

We administer pain management to our post-surgical patients, including pets who have recently undergone a dental cleaning or tooth extraction. This is a precaution that we use to treat pain preemptively. It is important to us to eliminate pain before it even begins!

If you have questions about our pain management protocols or options, we would love to talk with you. Please contact us right away.
